Company groupings, and in particular networks, can prove to be factors of success for a company’s competitiveness and development, especially abroad. The excessive fragmentation that still characterises local business in some key sectors strongly limits their growth.
The general aim of the project is thus to promote and activate the company network tool by implementing horizontal and sectorial synergies that go beyond simple subcontracting and which create opportunities for real collaboration and business between companies through the creation of inter-regional networks geared prevalently to internationalisation.
Sharing it between the various Chambers of Commerce, the project aims to make use of all the tools available to make these processes smoother, serving as facilitator within the local business community.
May 2013 saw the publication of the guide, produced by Aries in association with il Sole 24 Ore: "Un mare di network. La prima guida dei contratti di rete tra imprese del settore nautico".

The project is the result of a Programme Agreement between the Ministry for Economic Development and the national union of the Italian Chambers of Commerce, drawn on the Unioncamere equal distribution fund of 2011-2012.
