In order to strengthen its operativeness and offer businesses greater opportunities for a presence abroad, Aries has joined a number of networks as a result of synergies with other regional, national and international bodies. Single initiatives can thus be organised within the framework of actions implemented by specific networks.
At a national level
Group of Chambers of Commerce for internationalisation
As of 2005, Unioncamere, the national union of the Italian Chambers of Commerce, launched a new strategy to offer companies a service that sees the Chambers working in closer synergy. This led to the founding of the Gruppo delle strutture camerali per l’internazionalizzazione (Group of Chambers of Commerce for internationalisation), which today has 20 Chambers of Commerce and Special Agencies as members, committed to promoting reciprocally their initiatives. In this way, local businesses are offered the possibility of participating in activities not expressly organised by the Chamber of Trieste, thereby broadening the range of opportunities and limiting the use of public resources needed to pay for their organisation. The sharing process is also effected with the Chambers system abroad.
At a regional level
The Regional Companies Internationalisation Desk is promoted by Friuli Venezia Giulia Region in close cooperation with the Italian Ministry for International Trade, the Italian Institute of foreign trade, SIMEST, SACE, Finest, Informest and Friulia. Its aim is to facilitate the use of financial, insurance, promotional tools and technical assistance to enable the realisation of internationalisation projects (investments, exports, search for opportunities for international development).
At an international level
Network Nuova Alpe Adria
This was set up in 2007 as a network to support economic cooperation between small and medium-sized businesses from Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Carinthia, Slovenia and Croatia.
Periodically, a series of joint economic and project initiatives are organised, and in particular multilateral and commercial meetings between companies in specific sectors that are strategic for these regions.
The network comprises the relevant Chambers of Commerce.
Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce (AIC)
This association, chaired by the Chambers of Commerce of Ancona and of Split offers a round table for Chambers of Commerce and institutions on both sides of the Adriatic (Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Greece), whose operativeness has consolidated itself on themes considered priorities, including tourism, female entrepreneurship, transport, agriculture and the environment.
Friend Europe Consortium
This comprises 10 bodies at the service of companies in Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Trentino Alto Adige. The counter open in the offices of Aries provides integrated information services, consultancy and business cooperation on themes such as European legislation, the internal market, European programmes and relations with the European institutions.
